How BLACKETT handles your information.
BLACKETT is operated by Tiny Brands LLC. This policy explains what personal information the firm collects, why, how it is used, and the choices you have over it.
BLACKETT is a Mexico sourcing partner for companies in the United States and Canada. The BLACKETT website and services are owned and operated by Tiny Brands LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States ("BLACKETT", "the firm", "we", "us").
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the BLACKETT website, The Newsletter, our forms, and our services. For questions about this policy, contact hello@blackettintel.com.
We collect only the information needed to operate the firm and its services:
Information you give us. Your name, company, role, email address, and any message content when you subscribe to The Newsletter, complete a contact form, book a Discovery Call, or purchase a service.
Intake and engagement information. When you book a Discovery Call or begin an engagement, you share business information through our intake form and during the work — such as product details, specifications, volumes, and sourcing requirements. This information is used solely to prepare for and deliver your engagement, and is protected as described in Section 12.
Information about manufacturers and business contacts. In the course of an engagement, the firm collects business contact information and operational details about manufacturers and other professional contacts — such as names, roles, business contact details, certifications, and facility information, including photographs taken during on-site validation. This information is processed for legitimate business purposes, used to deliver the engagement, and shared with the client as part of the deliverables.
Information from public and professional sources. We may collect business contact information — such as name, role, company, and work contact details — from public and professional sources, including professional networks, to communicate about services relevant to your business. You may opt out of these communications at any time.
Payment information. When you purchase a service, payment is processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our systems; we receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction details.
Usage information. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use the website.
Email engagement. When you receive The Newsletter, our email provider records whether messages are opened or links are clicked, to help us understand what is useful.
We use the information we collect to:
Deliver The Newsletter, the Discovery Call, and the engagements you request. Prepare for your Discovery Call and perform the work defined in your Project Proposal. Process payments and manage your engagement. Respond to messages, enquiries, and requests sent to the firm. Send service-related communications and, where you have opted in, editorial content. Understand how the website and The Newsletter are used, so we can improve them. Protect the firm and its users against fraud, abuse, and security risks, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: your consent (for example, to receive The Newsletter); the performance of a contract (to deliver a service you purchased); our legitimate interests in operating and improving the firm; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, as described in "Your rights and choices" below.
The firm uses a small set of established providers to operate the website and its services. Each processes personal information only as needed to provide its function: newsletter and email delivery (to manage subscriptions and send The Newsletter); form handling and scheduling (to receive intake forms and book sessions); payment processing (to process purchases securely); website hosting and infrastructure (to host and serve the website); and workflow, analysis, and data management tools — which may include AI-assisted tools operating under commercial confidentiality terms — to organize and prepare engagements and communications.
Each provider operates under its own privacy and security terms. We select providers that maintain appropriate safeguards.
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the services you have requested, to maintain our business records, and to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove its identifying details. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we act on that request as described below.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete; request deletion of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent; and receive a copy of certain information in a portable format.
You can unsubscribe from The Newsletter using the link in every email. To exercise any other right, contact hello@blackettintel.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to limit who can access it.
BLACKETT works with clients in the United States and Canada, with operations in Mexico. Tiny Brands LLC is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Where information is transferred across borders, it may be processed in a country with different data protection laws than your own. By using the website and services, you understand that your information may be processed in those locations.
Business information you share for an engagement — including product specifications, volumes, pricing, and business plans — is treated as confidential information under our Terms of Service. It is used solely to perform the engagement, is shared only as needed to deliver it, and is protected by the confidentiality obligations described in the Terms, which survive the end of the engagement.
BLACKETT is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the firm and its services evolve, or as the law requires. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
For any question about this Privacy Policy or about how your information is handled, contact the firm at hello@blackettintel.com.
